just adequate.& actually very poor quality and value by comparison to availability in Liverpool. However it was location after long journey that made me return to this village...The village is poor quality by comparison to many other Liverpool Hotels /boutiques/ new offereings and I have stayed at many. So adequate and poor quality but the correct location. Virginia
Village is adequate & actually poor quality & value by comparison to availability in Liverpool. However it was location after long journey that made me return to this village... Virginia I struggles to use the TV as the remote was complicated.I tried all 9 channel buttons but could not get BBC or ITV. I has to get a member of staff to sort it for me and write down the numbers on the chanels which were 14-15 and 16.....but I did not know that I should press the arrow up down button. I did find the shound arrow buttons. You should remember that even very bright business people like myself and not techo wizkids and even a remote is challenging.I once had an experience pressing a button on a remote that started to access adult stuff so I simple do not press anything other then the chanel number buttons just in case. Also In tried to ring reception to ask for help dialing 100 and I think 9 but no responce so I had to go to reception but met a lovely lady member of staff on the stairway who was very helpfull and came to the room. She said that a black folder would have given the information about which number to call reception but really it should be written on the piece of paper under the receiver!.We should not have to start reading a manual to use the phone or TV after an very long day !.

The room was good with good coffee machine, reasonably priced. Ironing facilities, a study table and a radio were great. The staff was brilliant, I stayed for 1 night.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were unwelcoming.

Me and my family was over in Liverpool and Manchester a trip for vacation and drove around the countryside and stayed at this hotel which we thought was very nice and would like us to take this several times. Located just so far away that you get the feeling that one is in the countryside and yet near the center of the city of Liverpool. Fine and nice rooms and nice pesonal. Good service in the restaurant. Good breakfast that was not the extra price Family of 4

The location was magnificent - close to motorway links, a festival, and a pub with football. the property was only 5 km from the Prescot Clock Museum. - the double room we stayed in was modern. - the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fairly clean.

The Staff were great, especially the resturant staff who made you feel at home . The food was of a good quality, with the salt and pepper squid starters being amazing Nice bar
The gym looked abit tired compared to the De Vere village in Swindon and the Venues in Bolton the cold breakfast menu seemed a bit limited

Easy to find. Pool and sauna. The breakfast. Friendly staff.
Bit busy with kids in the pool. Receptionist told me I neednt book a time for dinner. When I went they couldnt fit me in at the time I wanted so she was wrong. Roudy clients kept me awake until 3am......the staff shoud have really been aware of this and put a stop to it. However, when I went to reception and complained the night porter dealt with it promptly.
